Contract review, billed Removed: by the hour Added: per contract.
Your first contract review is free. After that, $99 per contract, every round included until it’s signed. No seats, no subscription, no hourly billing.
1. What counts as a contract.
One agreement through its whole negotiation: every round, the Word redline with Mike’s comments in the margin, and the clean copy. Documents sent together count once, so an MSA and its DPA in the same email is one contract. NDAs are free.
2. When you pay.
Only when you’re ready to export Mike’s redline drafts (either by downloading or attaching them to an email response). Reading Mike’s review is free, and a review you do not export will not be charged. Subsequent rounds on the same contracts are included. If redline copies need to be redownloaded, those will not be charged.
3. The comparison.
In lieu of outside counsel at $1,200/hr, with the average enterprise contract running 5 rounds at 4 hours a round, Customer shall pay Removed: $24,000 per contract Added: $99 per contract.
4. Questions.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Your first review is free, and you can hold up to two reviews you haven’t sent before a credit card is required. After your first export, you will need to add a card to run your next export.
Do NDAs count?
No. NDAs cost nothing, every round included, and don’t use up your free review. Any other agreement counts as one contract: an MSA, an order form or a DPA.
What if the other side counters?
After the first round, every subsequent round is included. Mike reads their answer against what you sent, redlines only what moved, and drafts the next reply. You aren’t charged again.
What if I read the review and don’t send it?
You pay nothing. You’re charged only when Mike’s redline or clean copy leaves Mike, as a draft in your inbox or a download.
Is an MSA and its DPA one contract or two?
One, if they arrive in the same email or upload. A document sent later on its own is its own contract.
What happens when there’s nothing to cite?
Mike will still suggest language and flag these clauses if you want to confirm with your outside counsel.
What happens to my data?
It’s encrypted, never used for training, and deleted on request. Summation, which builds Mike, is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. Trust center.
